Dianne's Digital Discoveries

Resources and ideas for the successful integration of technology in education.

About Dianne

By day, I’m currently an Instructional Technology Specialist and Coach, for which I provide professional development, assistance and support for the faculty in the Wissahickon School District in the areas of technology integration and 21st century learning. Before becoming a Technology Specialist, I was a French teacher who was identified as a Keystone Technology Integrator in 2007. I am constantly learning about new technologies and how to best apply them to education today.

By night and weekend, I am a wife, a mom and the goddess Soleil in the virtual world called Medievia. My husband works full-time on the game and I help out with the website and in-game publications. Being a part of this online international virtual game world for over 10 years has absolutely broadened my outlook on the world, and on education. It is an interesting way to look at the world.

I also have a son, a step-son, a step-daughter, and a LOT of pets -  a tortoise, 2 Schneider’s skinks, 2 aquariums, a cat, a Boxer and a standard Poodle.

Visit my website for more info about me and links to all my social networking sites, web 2.0 sites and websites I’ve created.

What font do you use for “Categories” “Name” “Email” and “Website”? They are attractive.

As a Technology Staff Development Specialist, I spend quite a bit of time finding the best resources for the teachers in my district to use as they are starting to effectively integrate technology in education.  This blog serves as a place for me to share these resources and every once and awhile my insights into technology in education.

Please let me know if you have any sites you would like me to highlight.

Enjoy!
